The
Recycling Urban Homes project in La Boca has begun the Neighbourhood
Development stage, working in partnership with local NGO’s and conducting a
series of workshops for families in the neighborhood. As the building in Hernandarias 674 advances,
we continue to strengthen the ties in the neighbourhood.
The team,
Alejandro Fernández and volunteer Dietlinde Wouters, are leading the program of
Human Development workshops for families in the neighborhood. I n partnership
with Forge Foundation, we hope to
corroborate the fundamental housing problems in La Boca through the point of
view of the people living there.
An average
of ten families have participated throughout the different sessions of this
first program comprised of workshops that have addressed themes of housing and
community, family budgeting, and assisted rentals.
