Year 1, Volume 5: Looking ahead...

Santa Fe:

Another House Dedication ! As we continue to work on the Cachiarelli Family's house, at the beginning of January we will be dedicating the home of the Sarmiento Family (the 5th house of the special project "Rebuilding Santa Fe one house at a time" ).

Our projects in the next 10 months:

House with Land Project: After having had our first experiences we have looked for alternatives that will enable us to take care of families that don't own land (until now a requirement for being an HFH Argentina beneficiary). Looking to reduce the cost of building as well as create a sense of community, we aim to work with groups of families. Hopefully, this will allow us to keep a monthly payment close to the current one but that - for that same amount- will include the cost of the land. Donations of land have been promised both in Luján and Santa Fe. We expect to make those donations effective to begin with this project that is also financially supported by Habitat for Humanity International.

All those that want to add efforts or learn more about the project, please contact oficinanacional@hpha.org.ar

Work & Build Project: Always seeking ways to reach the most needy families, we are starting an innovative project that will address the income generation problem.

All those that want to add efforts or learn more about the project, please contact oficinanacional@hpha.org.ar

Global Village: Thanks to the commitment of new volunteers, we are promoting a programme to encourage brigades and international volunteers. For more information about this part of our work, write to voluntario@hpha.org.ar
